Probably nobody will notice because everybody is in awe of salma Hayek who wouldn’t but in every And I mean EVERY interview she shares a “sexy” story and has the interviewer go along with it even till her recent interviews of today 2018-2019 and this was from 1995! You can clearly see she answers questions and then at the end she changes it’s almost that was the cue ..you do your interview and I share my story to promote myself, she gives him his lines she looks in the camera (before she wasn’t) and when he speaks she looks at him, sits up straight to make sure he does it correctly and they end the interview on cue I wouldn’t say it’s deceitful but she knows how to get people at the palm of her hand, she has a mega rich successful husband whose prominent in the film industry, she is still starring in films today, she can still play this act in her interviews without being noticed, she is a smart woman and a genius marketing move I might say she used her sexuality and beauty, capitalized off of it without ever having really to do a extreme cosmetic surgery. she was and still is sexy but never vulgar Touché Salma 😎

yeah, the reason is because when she got to hollywood, they said she wouldn't get famous, or get recognizable characters, if she had an accent, or otherwise, she would only be the "mexican maid" or the "funny friend". So she would try her best not to have a strong accent or nothing the resembled Mexican culture. Now she embraced her culture and talks the way she always had but never had the courage to show the world who she really is.
