John, Some anglers do choose to freeze it after and reuse. If you do make sure to keep it on rock salt when you thaw it to keep it firm.

How easy is it to clean your hands after handling the dyed bait? I know Pautzke wants to sell more juice, but can the left-over juice be saved for future use?

Dyed bait will stain your hands. It's a dye. Keep in mind that once the brine is absorbed into the bait the salts and other brining agents are as well. We don't recommend reusing because of it.

Why not just put the proper amount of dye to the fire brine? The other major brine company doesn't require me to buy the extra product that you have cheaped out on putting the brine.
