Great vlog, Noel. Not too long after visiting you and your lovely family we moved to the shore of Lake Ponchartrain in Louisiana, USA. I'm still trying to figure out what works on the bayous, rivers and lakes here. It's quite different than it was in Texas and a world away from the Blackwater. Cascade, Willie Gunn or Micro Green Butt.... Covers over 90% of the fish I've had on your stretch. Cascade in Spring and Autumn, Willie Gunn in Summer and Autumn and the Micro Green Butts in low water. Humdingers!

Excellent advice Noel. Cascade, Willie Gunn and Micro tubes have all worked for me on Blackwater Salmon Fishery beats as well as far away places. Would love to get those flies sent to me in Blessington as I've seen your flies and they are beautifully tied. Bulging Nets for 2020! 🎣

Hi An Gobán Soar, we don't sell flies, but I would argue that a selection of Cascades, Willie Gunns & Green Butts in various sizes (#8-14 hooks) (3/4" copper, Aluminium & coneheads) would cover most waters and conditions in Ireland.
