Salmon Fishing On The River Eden Following A Summer Spate

Fishing the middle Eden for Salmon following a decent spate, conditions started really difficult and required big flies and sunk lines but soon settled as the river level started to drop and the clarity improved.

Thanks Andrew, she’s having a great season after only starting fishing in ‘21.. massive black and yellow Snaelda doing the business, I was also surprised she caught one as I was thinking at the time it’s border line fishable, it did clear later on a touch but the day after was probably the one to be out on ideally.
