I always put diced green onions and Old Bay crab seasoning in all my fish cakes. Outstanding! Here's a tip....I have always flipped over my fish cakes and burgers like you do until recently. I bought two wooden spatulas, and hold one in each hand. It works great, and no more burnt fingers. :)

In this video you said you really wanted another set of Wolfgang puck or Salad Master?? My question is why?? The set you have looks brand new. I would be so grateful to have the one you have. I would have to save Forever or ask it for Christmas ir something. I'm using a set of Pioneer Woman right now and I'm perfectly contented.

I love salmon patties too. I make them just like you do, except I do use a little onion in mine. I especially love salmon patties in a homemade biscuit. That's my favorite. 😉 When I was growing up we live in this big old house and there was a 3 bedroom apartment down in the basement. So some of my parent's friends lived down in the apartment. Every morning the wife would fix salmon patties and homemade biscuits for her husband. I could smell it every morning while I was getting ready for school. lol !! Leslie, that's a good looking supper !! Thank you for sharing another delicious recipe with us. God bless y'all. ❤

Perfect meal! It's funny that my sister called those peas "ticks" as well. I was 26 or 27 years old and stationed in Korea before I ate "ticks". I found this video while searching for a recipe for stewed potatoes. My daughter asked for them yesterday, so I made stewed potatoes and corn bread for supper. My mom used to make fried potatoes and onions with salmon patties as well. So good! And, I put ketchup on my salmon patties even though I seldom use ketchup on anything.

Chris Horne awesome! I didn't elaborate too much on he potatoes. I'll have to do another video on potatoes and do a better job. That's funny that your sister called peas " ticks". I had never heard anyone call them that until I met him. Have a great day and thank you for watching!

Next time I make them I'll try your recipe instead of using crackers, I also always add chopped onions and ground red pepper to mine! ( love the taste of red pepper ). @elizabethshaw7343 жыл бұрын
I would think so! Jack mackerel isn't salmon but it is often eaten by people on a budget. I saw when I lived in the UK lots and lots of people buying Jack mackerel in a can. It does have a strong odor but I have to say I love mackerel it's an oily fish that's good for your heart and I like the taste so I would be find to make the Jack mackerel patties. Could you share your recipe? Besides I want to torture my caregiver she's been in the mood lately so I'm going to make her clean it! Hehehe :-)

I was shopping in Dollar Tree a while back. A lady bought a can of Mackerel. She told me that is what she uses to make her patties instead of Salmon. I have never made Salm I n patties. My step-dad would make them using Saltine crackers. They were so good.

I'm so glad I found your youtube channel. With eating at home all the time now. Having extra time after work because of stay at home orders. I was looking for different things to cook. I made the salmon cakes they were so good. I only added a little onion powder. I used the little pouches of salmon. I don't like picking the skin and bones out. I'm always boiling out potato water too. I turn them on high and forget to turn them back down. Love watching a real person cook and you are just so cute. Thank you so much for taking the time to do your videos. Love watching you.

We use a big can of red salmon not pink. Pink salmon was always for cat food it was Chum. Red salmon in the big can is delicious or small cans but that's real salmon and we used to eat it every summer or not plate with cucumbers and tomatoes and a little spoonful of mayonnaise and salt and pepper. I never had a salmon patty. I would make them with the red salmon though not pink salmon. Sam's Club has a very tasty six or eight pack of small cans of pink salmon and that's probably the best pink salmon I ever had because we just don't eat it up here we eat red salmon. Sockeye salmon I think. :-)
