If it’s your time on the salmon river I would definitely recommend the town pool just because you can really get a feel for this fishing and what people are fishing with also another good spot on the river is the ball park hole but doubt go all the way to the Field go to the parking lot right before it and you will see a trail going down with a rope go down that trail it will bring you straight to the water and then go up river to your right it’s a fit of a walk but you will see a wooden stare case do not use it is private property but right across or a little bit up you will see an island and there is I nice pool there that I catch coho kings browns not to much steelhead tho but my dad cought a huge one there like 15 20 lbs a few years ago but that is another great spot

What’s the best spots for coho and big browns or brooks ?
@jagfishing8362 жыл бұрын
Well cohos on a good day can make the entire run in 24-48 hours so cohos are all avout right place at the right time. As far as browns, ive never targeted them in the salmon river but i have friends that swear by trestle, pineville and ellis cove areas

Great aerial view from the salmon river. I love to fish the deeper holes and do some hiking and get away from the Gong Show. This river looks beautiful and brings in a lot of salmon in the fall. It also brings a lot of anglers from all over the US and Canada. Thanks for sharing these great spots and good luck this fall. I love the Black hole pool, great spot for salmon early season and also for steelhead to stay during the cold weather months.

@jagfishing836 Жыл бұрын
There are a lot of public access point to the river besides what was mentioned in this video. As for narrowing it down to where the fish are now..... its late in the season and they are scattered all over the river. Best bet is the day before you come look at a few local reports and get an idea where they are.

there is this little "nunnery" that sits along the "little salmon river" that my Bro-in-law took me to 20(?) years ago. make a little donation and they allowed you on the property. some pretty good fishing and no one there.

Hey Jag, I've been watching a lot of your fishing videos. very informative. Ive been fishing the salmon river for about 5 years now, and you are spot on with your advice on fishing it. i liked your video on your fishing setup. i think you should make a more updated video on what setup to use, what to look for in the river. what type of waders, what sunglasses. pretty much everything in depth. i know when im planning on heading up to pulaski , i always go online and do my research, and watch the latest videos to be more informed. thank you for your videos, and keep bringing us the great content.

my dumb ass forgot the boat oars so I was only able to get so far away from the dock making only one fishing channel fished in a day. still caught two 1 foot long fish, a trout and a pike minnow. Videos like this are what makes it possible to catch good fish so thanks a lot man. :) Gonna go for kokanee this next time.
