@@huskiehuskerson5300 well sorta, you can look it up but the gist of it as i understand it is that jay and taran's contracts were up at the end of their last season, but neither of them, or at least not taran, ever signaled that they didn't want to come back next season. But taran was directing his film gunter and the feeling is that lorne didn't want him back if he was going to have multiple projects going on. And i think it was a similar deal for jay. So fired isn't exactly the right word but taran and jay's time at snl was not renewed even though neither of them planned to stop. And it's frustrating now with like cecily and aidy being allowed to film tv shows and still be considered on the cast when they couldn't do it for taran and jay
