I'm the ROB in that clip - you're right, that setup is a complete gimmick but it looks flashy :P The thing is though, it works surprisingly often even against good players - but only once. Simply because if you're not expecting to be put in a tech situation, reacting once you're in the air is actually extremely hard (only ~15-20 frames to realise what's going on and to press R), especially over wifi. And nobody really expects the tech situation against ROB, so it kinda works. Good players catch on quickly of course so going for that "combo" multiple times against them doesn't do much. The dair in particular has a bunch or startup so it's really easy to tech if you know what's coming. Often people expect to be able to just jump away though (the tech situation window is very tight, ~5%) so they simply don't recognise it the first time. Also DIing up thwarts it.

and for the last clip let me explain 10:10 So Ness's PK Thunder is weaker than Lucas's because it can get interrupted well since ness's PK Thunder hit the wall it makes it invincible so it can't get interrupted and since Lucas's PK Thunder is invincible it cancels out each other, and the second part is explanatory

Can anyone explain to me how to do the repeating metal blade footstool combo? I can do everything up to the jablock but I just can't understand WHAT he's doing with the blade stuff into repeating the combo. I've watched these clips like 55 times

Not sure which one you mean specifically but I'll just assume you mean the normal metal blade combo. It's a footstool z drop to footstool, drift back and lemon right before landing to pick up the blade and lock, then rinse and repeat until Utilt

Therefore, there's no escaping that combo. He back aired the Mega Man's shield and got punished by a TRUE combo, so there's nothing he could've done anyway.
