Hello farmers! Please take note of this statement "I don't really know what quantity of salt you should use". It doesn't really mean I don't know what I'm saying. For those who called to ask me, before I tell them what quantity of salt to be used, I asked about their pond size and level of water. I used eye gage because it's what I do everytime, so my statement simply means I don't know all your pond size, for that reason, I can't tell you what quantity of salt to be used. We all have different pond type, sizes and different water volume. When we have a chat, I can tell you what you can simply do. I hope you all understand!

I believe you know the video is all about catfish right?? If yes then, you are not putting salt that will kill your fish, and you're not just adding salt to water unnecessarily. We add salt to pond water because the fish are sick and salt do much work in neutralising affected water. Overused of it will kill your fish, but using it normally will cure the disease and the water will still be conducive for the fish. The fish I used salt for yesterday are swimming perfectly today. So if salt is not used in treating Catfish, I won't bring you anything like that. I hope you understand me sir.

apply salt just once, note, when treating your catfish, please don't feed till second day.

well you can't stock more than 100 pieces if I should be frank with you. you may likely need up to 5 bags before cropping them.

Fish were transferred from one pond to another, after that, most of them are not swimming, they’re just stationary at the bottom of the pond even if u put fish feed only few swim to the surface to eat, What could be the problem please??

Why didn't you dilute the salt in a bucket of water first before applying the salt ? Because applying directly might kill the fish
