What do you call flat escalator? A travelator, often called an autowalk or moving walkway, is the ideal flat escalator solution for managing people flow in the most demanding environments.

The actual, its real name: The Automated People Mover, will be installed in a separate, more mainstream, connected tunnel at a later date. The tunnel has been finished in the digging, and the cover has been placed on it. The TAPM will be installed when Concourse C has been finished. There are rumors of plans to make more concourses than C, but, as you've seen, it's a current work in progress, but it's still much better than the old one that became very, very small & outdated

A couple of interesting facts. A large percentage of the shops and restaurants at the airport are local to SLC and the Wasatch Front. Café Rio is a well known and loved Mexican restaurant and Squatters is a local brew-pub. Second, the airport has mandated that the prices at the airport will be the same as shops and restaurants in SLCs so there should be (in theory) no steep markup.
