Salt Lake City Utah Scooter Driving Test

Here is what it looks like to take the scooter driving test in Utah 2016. The course is towards the north side of the parking lot so you can also go and practice there for free whenever there isn't another scheduled test. The test took me 11 minutes. You only need to bring your scooter and drivers license. Good luck!
What I learned: Go faster than you think. Listen to instructions well and don't be afraid to ask questions to understand.

Live in Virginia and any Moped, Scooter or NON "Motorcycle" over 50 cc's is considered a "motorcycle". So have been looking at any videos' that show the driving test and yours is the first I have found that shows a scooter taking the test. I have a 300cc (279cc) scooter and am glad I will be able to do the test on my own scooter as most of the driving skills tests show beefy motorcycles of 1000cc'c or higher struggling to maintain control of the cones and the left turn and stopping in the square. Just a tip, get yourself some gear man. No gloves, sandals (???), hope you never fall. And many thanks for your video....

This is literally the easiest test ever, especially if you're using a scooter or moped. I used my 149cc scooter for the illinois motorcycle road test, easily passed and got my Class L back in late May 2024 In my first try

Some states allow a motorcycle, scooter or moped to be driven with a temp permit but must follow specific/restricted guidelines (eg, no driving at night, no additional passengers, etc). I assume utah has something similar.

Haha, no worries. If you don't understand you can do it again. I think they let me "fail" 3x before officially marking the failed attempt officially.

Es personīgi ar otro reizi noliku..jo pirmo reizi,kad liku tad ar CSDD rolleri braucu un nebiju pieradis..plus nebiju braucis 2 mēnešus ar rolleri.Ir iespēja tpt pabraukāt ar rolleri pirms figūrān kādas pāris minūres,bet pa figūrām nedrīkst.Tad katrai figūrai ir 3 mēģinājumi.Ja nezini,tad ir 8 figūras:astotnieks,lēnā,ātrā čūska(apkārt konusiem),stop-līnija,kur ar 30kmh jāieskrienās,pie noteikta konusa jāsāk bremzēt un jāapstājas starp abām līnijām,tad ir iestumšana gabarītvārtos,kur vnk jāiestumj rolleris atmuguriski un jāuzliek kājiņa,tad,ja nemaldos bija starp 2 konusiem jāizbrauc nepārbraucot pāri 2 līnijām(ātrais un lēnais bija) un tad mazam tiltiņam jāpārbrauc pāri...plus..kā kurš instruktors,cits var striktāks būt,cits atkal ne tik ļoti..pirmajā reizē,kad liku,tad lietus lija,tpc instruktors teica,ka ātrumu nemērīs..jo nu var saslīdēt,pats saproti. Un tos jautājumus par eļļām utt..MAN neprasīja,bet labāk iemācies,jo kā jau teicu,kā kurš instruktors.. Veiksmi nolikt :) P.S. Abas reizes liku ar vēl vienu puisi,pirmajā reizē abi izgāzāmies,otrajā reizē abi nolikām :)
