Awesome "how to..." Scotty. Much harder to miss in a kayak, but also a hell of a lot harder to travel between 😂. Time on the water. Focus on learning an area... I think I heard some guy on KZbin say that...

When you talk about how you burley and what you use, your Rigs and searching for micro lumps thats untouched and catching pinkies/Dhuies on the drop is unreal..

It's not smartness. It's slackness 😅 I know how it feels. I usually rig up a 40g & 80g on different rods pending wind etc

Hi Scott, wondering what transducer you’re using. Thanks
@SaltfixАй бұрын
Hi mate im just running the standard three in one. as I mostly do shallow i dont see the need for 1kw or bigger plus I like the side scan too, which I didnt use this day but probably should have. Standard tranny is great out to 40odd metres I still get good readings
@kevinwright6522Ай бұрын
Cheers Scott. I’ve got the same. Another great video
@Gam3rOn45thstАй бұрын
Hi Scott do you think you could do a vid on your transducer placement that enables you to read at speed. great vid as always
@SaltfixАй бұрын
Gday mate, Ill try but im no expert. plenty of vids online showing the best way. every boat and every transducer will be different , for me I found angling the trans forwards a little made a big difference , more water pressure on the face less bubbles and better picture at speed. most instals say have it level with the boat but I think a bit lower and tilted forwards (only a few degrees) gets better results. its all about clean water with no bubbles or turbulance
