i wonder what would happen if one installed a gas solenoid valve on a drone and a weave material in a light weight platform above the rotors that could have a hydrogen balloon in it to offset the weight of the drone allowing extended run time at part throttle.. as the drones weight is supported mostly by the balloon.. the hydrogen gas can be released remotely. since its not a manned flight.. hydrogen is cheaper than helium. and half the weight of helium.
