It's shrimp rigging time!
Everybody knows that using shrimp is one of the easiest ways to catch fish...
But so many people rig them incorrectly!
And when you rig them the wrong way, you're costing yourself tons of fish!
So in this video, we'll show you the best way to rig shrimp on a jig head.
Here's why this works so well:
- It releases extra scent in the water, so fish are attracted to it
- It makes the shrimp hydrodynamic, so it doesn't spin unnaturally in the water
- It makes the shrimp aerodynamic, so you can cast it far
If you want to catch more fish when using shrimp, you're going to love this video!
Have any questions about rigging shrimp on jig heads?
What’s your favorite way?
Let me know down in the comments.

This might be obvious, but what is the difference between doing this with a live shrimp and a fresh dead shrimp? It's not like you are getting any "action" from the live shrimp while jigging.

Snook in particular seem to bite the live shrimp or any live bait more often I’m not sure why this is but in 30 years of snook fishing I can count on one hand how many I have caught on dead bait most come on live baits or on artificial lures

It's a croc. You can't 100% rely on head shape, the best way to be sure is to check the teeth. If the top teeth overlap the bottom, then it's an alligator, if the top and bottom teeth interlock like a zipper, then it's a croc. But in the video that is a croc.
