I live in Taiwan, and can confirm century eggs are great. They're not buried in dirt but preserved in clay and other stuff. Kind of gelatinous exteriors but really creamy yolks. It's like a better boiled egg, basically. Once you get over the cultural differences, they're pretty good.

​@@MacmanUltra444it's a duck egg that is covered in a layer of clay and buried in the dirt for 100 days. The yolk turns black and it can have a very deep flavor. I've had it myself, it's actually pretty good. Doesn't taste that much different from a hard-boiled egg with salt on it. But the color is kind of funky, a mixture of black and yellow and green. That's usually what turns people away from it
