Pizza tower is easily my favorite game this year. Zelda could change it whenever I beat it, but pizza tower is on top. I adore the whole final segment from the boss to the escape. It just made me sad because my time experiencing this game for the first time was over. It’s so rare for a game to be so good that it makes me feel this way.

I like the concept someone thought of for the final boss concerning the little boss rush. Every boss in this game has a "phase 2" to get serious when they realize they're getting beaten. Peppino goes through both for each boss, but when he beats Pizzaface and Pizzahead, after Pizzahead releases the previous bosses on Peppino again, revealing a "phase 3" of sorts, Peppino screams out and goes berserk on them all. Peppino entered HIS phase 2.
