@@gmic56ify To be fair, embarrassing and shaming guests for laughs is common practice for talk shows. Over the years people have become bored with the idle chitchat that talk shows do and want something more. I've heard things about how her crew complains about her, but for all I know it could just be employees nitpicking things because they just want something to complain about. People today have become crybabies always looking for a target to point their finger at.

@@gmic56ify Exactly. The only reason her treating her crew so terribly has stayed under wraps for so long is because no one talked and this is the same way with her guests; Had they dared to talk back the way Celine did here, then it would have been for more clear to people that what Ellen did was too far and we'd probably all realised sooner that her crew got the same lack of respect. I remember Nicky from Nicky tutorials talking about being on Ellen after her coming out as a trans woman, she talked to Mathijs van Nieuwkerken, a tv host in my and Nicky her home country. And Nicky said she felt pretty much unwelcome, she didn't get to talk to Ellen before the show at all and there was no talk on what Ellen was going to ask so Nicky had no idea what to expect and couldn't tell what she preferred wouldn't be mentioned for example. She gave an example; "Coming here (on the show of Mathijs) you said 'hi' to me before the show, and Ellen didn't do that, at all." No hello or small talk at all. Ellen even now claims she had no idea that her crew treated other people of her crew poorly (as if she had nothing to do with it).

@@chumboslice5848 Actresses are so often asked questions about their bodies and diets (or underwear) far more than actors ever are. Even when an actor has obviously bulked up from the previous movie. If he wasn't doing the same crap certain interviewers did he would've talked about a weight loss journey but it came off, as predictably as always, to be the same crap question actresses are asked one time or another or very often depending on popularity. The lamest and lacking of substance questions are often given towards the actresses (diet, body, beauty questions) as if the interviewer was so lazy that they couldn't do some research (especially when they give better questions that 9/10 could've been asked to the actress to her male co star) or they wanted something to get the perverts drooling over. Only a pervert or someone wanting to give perverts material would want to know what some stranger, or basically anyone who isn't their romantic partner, is wearing underwear or not especially on something that is meant to be released to the public.

Somehow people out there still like her, but for the most part, she's lost everything because she isn't a nice person, probably wasn't from the start, and people caught on after years and years.
