Hey thonny Spanish mackerel is a good fish to eat and so is pompano the Spanish mackerel you're a catching were really nice size😊😊

6’10 ultralight is what I use for pompano and macks! Medium light will work but it’s 6’7

If you want to try some different pompano jigs check out Frisky Fins, been using them for awhile now with great success, especially the sandflea color. Just curious, what knot are you using for your braid to fluro connection?
