i got a marron years ago at a place called jarrahdale that was almost 1kg it was huge it went back but man the size of it was insane. i got it at a spot that had an old pumping house right on the creek quite deep water. also down pemberton way has some huge marron if you know where to go we would spend the day walking the creeks sniping marron and then the nights at the dams so much fun growing up. congrats those are some nice marron you got there i bet they were tasty

An Australian freshwater Yabby is equivalent to the American Crawfish/Crawdad? As a kid, I sat on the banks of freshwater creeks in the outback with a piece of string and a piece of meat on the end dangled close to the bottom near the bank. after a while, you could sense the weight of the Yabby hooking onto the meat and so then draw the line close to the surface ever so slowly until you could get a net under it before it let go.

Taste like crayfish but not as rich in taste Like a prawn 😋😋😋 I prefer these over crayfish for me buddy😁👊 limits here are 5 marron in trophy waters size 90mm Non trophy waters 8 marron size 80mm.... season very short 3 weeks😭😭😭😭
