The strange thing is, after the player goes through that platform room, the areas they go through next seem to be more well made. Like they seem like something the devs planned for the actual game. There's more loot, the environments are populated with objects, and the one the player goes through first seems to have some type of warzone with actual explosions. Its a very sudden transition from the empty test rooms we've been seeing so far.

getting mad strong "personal hell" vibes from this whole series, started with the storms from the divide in "ground" and started to really make sense with the briefcases, with the beeping and clicking sounds coming from them sounding awfully similar to what Ulysses mentions in the DLC when the courier turns the divide into what it is now, starting to really think this is just a purgatorial state set for the courier or in their own mind but idk that feels like a reach to me, either way though the whole setting with the particularly destroyed cities, the storms, all feels really reminiscent of the divide, and the SECOND usage of a briefcase being followed almost immediately by the ruins and explosions and corpses of those who gave up really feel like its trying to put the courier through what they put others through, give them a taste of the fear that others felt when they brought that case to the divide.

Really been loving these, even though I don't understand much about the story still. Either way, they're creative and intriguing and I love seeing each upload. I especially love that nothing absolutely absurd in the context of New Vegas has happened, like there hasn't been some screaming ghost entity or something chasing you, it really feels like the vestiges of strange and cryptic cut content found deep inside the game through one of its many

Although it may be coincidental, this series has reminded me a lot of Phil Tippet's "Mad God". Following a character in a gas mask as they wonder through various areas of different strange displays, getting stranger & stranger, just to deliver a ticking briefcase to a particular spot where many other nearly identical copies of the main character had perished along the way.
