Rob no-one but you would show how it looks through a welding mask!!! You two are the best at interesting makers of motoring background things that you never see, and in this time of troubles its people like you that get us through, so thank you both for everything you do for us.

I found this channel by accident and so glad I did - it's like cat nip, I can't stop watching the videos! Great info and especially this lot about my favourite little car. (I was actually looking for clues as to why my Fiat 500 speedo reads 20mph when I'm doing about 60 sometimes but hey ho, I'll use the sat nav instead :) ). PS definitely not in kmh etc... It happens randomly during a journey and won't read above 30mph regardless of actual speed. It's going to the Fiat dealer when they open.

Rob another great video watching Chris welding reminded me of the only AUTO Vauxhall Cavalier ever made (according to Vauxhall ) I tried to weld the exhaust back on that I bought a welder from MAKRO’s thought done a great job until my Mother in law who had great pleasure in telling me the underneath of the car was on fire. All was well in the end bearing in mind I only had a pair of sunglasses not a welding mask. LOVE WHAT YOUR DOING Regards Chris from Orpington

I picked up some out of date fire blankets from a hotel that was being refurbished, they are perfect for stopping welding and grinding sparks from wrecking stuff. After trashing a windscreen with grinding sparks I have become obsessed with covering everything up! Pretty amazing how far they can travel and still be able to melt into glass!

Should get a filter to protect the camera. Welding flash does degrade them over time. Slipping a piece of the leftover quarter panel adds a lot of strength to the panel. Keep cracking on; we're all watching.
