I have a lot of experience with GT350s and 350Rs on track. I'll bet you'd have a ton of fun with the red car as a track car. Ford put out a fix for the oil filter harmonic issue IIRC. As for oil consumption, both cars I have experience with were warmed up gently, but driven hard once warmed up. Currently, the 350R has 10,000 miles, 3-4000 of which are on the track. The 350 didn't burn oil and neither does the current 350R. Oil changed before every track day with the OEM ford 5W50. That's my personal experience with the 5.2.

Oil consumption is part of the design. You may have later model with higher tension rings. Plus, people that continue to recirculate oil back into the crank case are asking for issues. The oil must be captured by a separator and not recycled into the case. A separator and clean rings make all the difference.

Yes stitch a second had rear half on it you must have parts available in youre workshop I'm a panelbeater in new Zealand and have done many cut and shuts there is some good dollars to be made in that car love you're videos keep them coming watch you guys all the time

Just finished a 87 Fox body hatch with saleen body kit rust free put a bolt in front and rear sub frame installed a gen 3 coyote with upgraded internals, oil pump gears, crank support, id1400 injectors,Texas speed turbo cams twin demon fuel pumps and twin 76 mm turbos hidden under the car by the built turbo 400 and a circle d converter 3500 at all should be around 1500 whp safely in e85

That small change on the door panel is the exact same thing that's on my 2022 GT/CS. I did not get the performance pack, did not have extra money, like 7K I think, I am curious though if the panel with the two gauges and air vents will work on the GT/CS as is or if the wiring and other things might be missing on the car and not be able to get the gauges to work.

As ALWAYS I LOVE the content you and the team puts out but I had a question this week! Why haven’t yall indulged in the tesla/ev market? The maintenance and repair on teslas for parts or sensors are wicked high so I have to imagine the resale value of used parts have to be pretty darn good right!? Only thing I could imagine is that tesla does a parent coding system where if it’s not the exact same one that came with the car the parts cant be swapped out but I seriously can’t imagine that’s true either with how often parts go bad right?

Yes, restore the GT350R. It's worth it now, it's worth it in the future. Bonded title or not, the car has value it in as either a track toy or somebody's budget Shelby. Heck, go ahead and roll cage it, strip the interior and get it full race prep. Probably worth more that way, but slower to sell.

Hmmm, interesting...I've not heard to much about the 5.2 being a time bomb My buddy has a '16 350 and it is flawless, never had any issue with it, and running full synthetic Castrol it doesn't even need oil added over 2,500 miles. Doesn't use oil or have any underlying issue that we know of...🤔

Just the history of the 1969 or 1970 Boss 302 should be a warning. People missing gears and badly over revving the engine causes catastrophic damage. Something like this would be a great candidate for parts to build a Factory Five Cobra Roadster!
