I worked with Italians and Scillians in the catering industry, real characters. When the place got busy and they started arguing, incredible to watch with the arm waving and gesticulations. Once you understood their ways and their points of principle and what the gestures meant thay are a great people. I love when Montalbano eats and before hand he wafts the food with both hands to savour the smell. That is how i remember the lads when we sat down for food after service ....

First one that Don is giving up on his fugitive grandson (because he is the one that crossed that line between the man and the beast) and second one that Montalbano can find him by trailing his priest who got introduced to Montalbano.
