Great interview! Just a heads up - since the video premiered 16 hours ago (on September 5th, 2024), it would be helpful to clarify when the actual conversation with Sam Altman took place. This would provide better context, especially regarding his comments on his situation at OpenAI. Thanks!

@@penguinista Well you are either extremely dumb or a condescending pos. However, I will give you the benefit of the doubt, so let me google it for you.... Trevor Noah interviewed Sam Altman on his podcast, "What Now?", in an episode released on December 7, 2023. This episode features a candid discussion where Altman reflects on his recent ousting and reinstatement as CEO of OpenAI, as well as broader topics related to artificial intelligence

Wow! Great! Brilliant! Fascinating! Mesmerising! Superb Episode! Cant stress enough. Trevor got out of Sam Altman more than I have ever heard him say over AGI. The intricacies, the theories and what the future holdswith respect to various aspects of human life and society in general while keeping the nuances and succinct definitions intact (without overly genralising for the audience) is what blew my mind off! Phew! I had to pause, rewind and relisten several times (sometimes with captions on) to comprehend the vastness/scope at which this episode was scaling to! Huge Respect for both Trevor and Sam Altman 🔥🙌🙏

Wow! I could not get my eyes off Sam Altman at all! (In a fascinating way!). The 'way' he looks completely down at the table or at the floor while answering to questions, beliefs, theories and persepectives, really shows and proves that his mind really races/works/gears up like a machine. I mean you could literally see in his face, the moment Trevor speaks up, suddenly all the cogwheels in his mind display a resultant output of hundred million sentences, perspectives, answers and within a fraction of a second he chooses the 'Best" answer and speaks up and wham! The listener blown away by the depth at which he casually plays in the entire podcast! Like simply great! Huge Respect!🙌

I am one of those that don't like AIs but I can respect what Sam Altman is saying and it does make me feel better to see how human he is, unlike Elon or Mark Z. I can see my career, which is marketing, disappearing in a few years because of AI. After having read Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury, I've felt that technology can do great things but also have the powers of making us human less intelligent and easier to control.

Around 56.00: I don`t think the problem is in our data, but in the way how we connect our data. I guess AI is going to be better than our data because it will connect it differently and get different results. The fundaments are going to be almost always the same and we humans are really good with decoding and understanding our fundaments, so our data is excellent, but again, the way we connect things needs to improve and saying the same again: ChatGPT is for sure much better in connecting things together. One question that might be important is according to which compass/perspective/set of value/paradigm ChatGPT is going to connect things,.. only logic? logic doesn`t work as an inherent force for prosperity and growth but ChatGPT is programmed for growth.

I'm also a bit confused about the timing. This interview seems to have been posted on KZbin around Sept 5th, 2024, but there's no mention of when it actually took place. I didn't hear Trevor Noah say the date either. Based on Sam Altman's comments about being fired and rehired, it feels like the conversation might have happened several months ago, not recently. It would be really helpful if Trevor included the interview date in the title, description, and maybe even as a caption or mentioned it in the video itself.
