Dear Sam, I was born in 1968. I was 20 years old when I served in the army of the 63rd Parachute Brigade in the former Yugoslavia in 1988. When I first heard your song, Stop, that beautiful song has been engraved in my heart ever since and I confess I was in love with you. I'm glad that thanks to the Internet I can tell you that now. You are truly unique, and the song "Stop" has remained unsurpassed to this day, I will listen to it for the rest of my life. And yes, until now, I am remained unmarried, I think it's your fault. hahahaha. My deep respect.

So great to see Sam in such a great place now after the devastation of losing THAT voice. I always loved her early work. All of the Jools Holland & Pink Floyd work just passed me by at the time so I was delighted to find it all down a KZbin Rabbit hole a few years back. An amazing singer with such a great voice, as an audience we are lucky to have access to all those great performances.

For Sam Brown. He blew me away in the Harrison tribute with the song "Horse to the water." I hear her almost every day with her pianist. I'm not an expert in music or voices, but there are many who call themselves "singers" who don't sing, speak or play very low notes or have a nice tone of voice and make a lot of money. I don't want to give names. You gave notes that went up to Everest and did what you wanted with your voice. Now it will continue to sing within different margins. It's fantastic how he sings and makes music. Good luck in life to you and your children. From Spain.

Number 8 is a truly stunning album. As soon as it was released and i first heard it, i loved it. Whilst i fully understand the obvious frustration that Sam feels at not being able to sing the way she always has, i am so happy that she has discovered a way to continue to be incredibly creative, and i hope that she will keep on writing, recording and releasing her wonderful material. That being said, i truly hope and pray that the voice returns. Either way, Sam is amazing and such a lovely human being and we will continue to support her however things pan out. Keep rockin', Sam 🤟🏻🤩

Sam, if it means anything, I've watched your performance of Great Gig (PULSE 1994) at least 250 times, and still do weekly. I get chills every time you "growl" on that video. (Watching you sing it is half the reason). So passionate and powerful. I've also been watching the "Reactions" video as new viewers watch it for the first time. They're all blown away by your performance. It never gets old. Nor do you! Enjoy your life. You've given me and thousands of others such happiness.

Samantha Brown. There is absolutely nothing fake about you, Or anything you have done in your entire life . Your voice i hate to say was , But it was the most incredible singing voice this country has ever produced . In the world, I hold Joni Mitchell , You and Kate Bush, in high regard . With Pink Floyd, Your backing vocals were extra ordinary "Great Gig In The Sky " Need i say more . The sessions with Jon Lord were beautiful , Among my favourites on KZbin. You are a great songwriter , But you know what ? The most important thing amongst all this success , Is you are simply Beautiful, Internally, and Externally, A true English Rose. A trooper . God Bless you and God Bless Your mum and dad for letting us have you.

Dearest Sam, what an amazing singer you are. I'm a professional singer myself, I even did backing vocals for your mom, when she was in a television show here in the Netherlands, in the early nineties, I think!! I also suffered from vocal problems as well, like you, and had to learn to sing all over again after surgery ( I had a cyste on one of my vocal chords). My voice is different than before, and I now have to THINK about every note I sing, choosing which sound I'm gonna make and be aware of my thechnique...But I managed to have my voice back and I'm still singing on stages and in studios!!! I just can't believe there's no way for you to regain your singingvoice again. Anyway. Loads of LOVE to you, girl. Keep on going!! Love, Monique XX

A uniquely wonderful talent. I absolutely loved Sam with Jools. I never enjoyed musical success in such a way, but have played guitar for more than 50 years now and have recently started to struggle with pain in my fingers so that I can no longer play how I used to. It makes me terribly sad, and I was only ever a hobbyist. I can't even begin to imagine what Sam went through. But love her voice and she comes across a genuine and lovely woman.

One of my most favorite female singers of all time, I think Sam was also very underrated too but not by me though, and as far as I'm concerned she had a fantastic singing voice for sure! I understand exactly what she is saying about not being able to sing like she used too and how she cant get her head around it! Everything she said during her interview struck a cord with me and I'm now going through the same thing with finding it hard to except! God bless!

No quiero dar nombres.

Dear Sam - I was very saddened to hear about your voice problems - I understand, I've been dealing with a life-altering medical issue for a while now. I have absolutely loved your voice and songwriting since the I first heard that lush opening to Stop! (plus an ORGAN SOLO? - in 1988? - FABULOUS!!). After listening to that and subsequent albums, my opinion is that you convincingly blew away the other female singer/songwriters of that time. I really like Sheryl Crow and Sarah Mclaughlin, etc... but there is no competition IMHO. Saw you on the Pink Floyd tour in DC, wish you could have done a solo tour over here. Love, Ed.
