IKR! Like, I don't actually ship either of them with him, I see them all as brothers. But if I had to choose one to ship, it'd be Sastiel, because I just can not see Destiel at all. I don't ship Sastiel as a couple (or Destiel for that matter) but this video still does a WONDERFUL job at showcasing the bond that's formed between these two. It always struck me how many times that it was Sam reaching out to, or defending Cas when Dean was the one being dismissive or had already given-up on the guy. Maybe because Sam understood what it was like to have been trying to do the right thing only to find out that it was the wrong thing. And he knows what it's like to have the people you care about most give up on you. And he knows what it's like to still WANT to do better. And as Cas said, he came to realize these things too when he was a human, and he truly understood Sam better as well. Ugg... I just LOVE these characters! (I love Dean too, but Sam's my absolute favorite with Cas taking a close second.) So, THANK YOU for this wonderful video! It was so beautifully put-together with all those wonderful moments of these two just trying to do good, and trying to help each other and be there for each other. Because that's what family does.

They're the purest friendship. People forget that Cas is Sam's best friend too. Like he's the love of Dean's life but he's Sam's family too. Cas had barely known Sam for a few months when he threatened to kill his own sister if she even tried to harm Sam. They're friendship has grown so much from "Sam's an abomination" to "nothings worth losing you". And they're very similar minded people who went through very similar tragedies.
