I think what we saw was a media tactic. Crowders spent time at fox and picked up a few things, it was executed poorly (likely because they've never had to do it before) but what you saw was just a drowning out of the other parties, so as to not give them platform while on their platform. If they'd had a debate, or if Steven had let Sam speak, tens of thousands LWC's own fans would go to take in more of his content to see if Sam was legit or had anything heavy to say (like myself) thats just money and followers for Sam, which Steven didn't just want to give him... and I understand that, because why would you want to share your platform with someone who would lie and do something so dishonorable as forcing themselves onto your show for air time. It's just.. the oiliest kind of slimy.

Because I wasn't defending Sam's debate skills, only putting Crowder on stand because Sam beat crowder without debating. Sam's mere PRESENCE was enough to put Crowder into yelling and bickering. His voice trembling. The mere presence of Sam sent Crowder into a defensive corner, almost like an animal being attacked in the wild. Crowder's fight or flight was to flight, it was to yell, insult and run. And I think it said more about Crowder than Sam. I found myself more on the right nowadays, as I've gotten older I just want less restriction on myself but still have a ton of liberal views. What's nice about being on both sides of the coin at one point is that I feel more comfortable saying where someone is right in a situation and where they are wrong. It sucks because the first five minutes they were being very kind with each other talkin about life things and I started to deceive myself into being hopeful that maybe there will be some great takeaways from the debate. I thought for a minute that there would be a good lesson to the viewers such as being able to talk with somebody that you completely disagree with and that you can always find common ground. Unfortunately, it turned into a giant shitshow where everybody starts digging in their heels and no matter how wrong the person they follow is, they stretch themselves and give Liberties that they would not give to somebody they disagree with. The other day I got into a debate on Discord with over a hundred people listening and it started with a couple of insults in the chat but it turned out to be great when we did our best to learn each other's beliefs. It can be done and should be encouraged.

@@Devyn_LV I'm wondering if Ethan only mentioned Steven's wife because he thought that Crowder was lying after he abruptly canceled the week prior. Either way, it was a pretty low thing to do to start off with a seemingly genuine conversation and then end up pulling a childish stunt like that. Nobody wins in situations like these and it only furthers the animosity that each side holds for each other. We should call out criticisms for Ethan, Steven and Sam instead of picking sides and telling people to "cope harder."

So it would make the most sense to debate Sam as he's the most educated in the subject but this was all to show he was full of shit to begin with
