I think that with that specific audience size "argument" to be precise it's more so an Ad Populum (Appeal to Popularity) Fallacy, in which the argument supports a position by appealing to the shared opinion of a large group of people, e.g. the majority, the general public, (in this case Crowder's subscriber count), etc. The presumed authority comes solely from the *size,* not the *credentials,* of the group cited. Whereas an Appeal to Authority (Argumentum ad Verecundiam) Fallacy fundamentally involves appealing to/ accepting as evidence for a proposition the pronouncement of a party(s) having no legitimate claim to authority or expertise in the matter at hand. You're essentially citing a non-authority as an authority, e.g. citing Albert Einstein (an expert in Physics) as an authority for a determination on religion despite his primary expertise differing greatly.
