Love this interview...she asks intelligent and humorous questions and allows Sam to express himself in a relaxed way. Actually discovered interesting tidbits about how Sam is motivated to portray Jamie Fraser during very different periods in his life. As always, I appreciate Sam’s sense of humor often directed at himself. It’s refreshing that he doesn’t seem to take himself too seriously. Though I wish his acting talent received more appreciation...the man deserves an Emmy, not to mention a BAFTA and a Golden Globe as well!

Great interview. Sam looked very relaxed and in control. It was nice hearing from Sam the entire interview. Sam deserves all the happiness and success coming his way. He has helped thousands get healthier, happier, and I bet had a few newborns named after him.

This has been the best interview of Sam I've seen so far on youtube! I credit the interviewer for her preparation and interviewing skills. Also, I really liked that Sam had the opportunity to be interviewed by himself and be able to respond to practical, reasonable and interesting questions that allowed the fans to get to know him as a person instead of a show business commodity. His responses demonstrated to me that there's a lot more to Sam than just his looks and that is wonderful!

This is a terrific interview with Sam Heughan! He is such a wonderful man! Just love to watch him, listen to him and just wish all the best things for him! They just need to give him the Emmy already! Golden Globes too! However, I don't think this is the goal of good actors; to win awards. I think they believe, rightly so, that the work speaks for itself! I must admit, I am one of those fans, like HRHDMKYT below, who secretly wish he'd lose the secret girlfriend and Caitriona would turn out to be "fake" engaged, just so the two of them would end up together! It will be interesting to see how it plays out in Season 4. Would her engagement temper their intimate scenes? Would they be less playful out of character? Will her responses to him be more guarded? It will be interesting to see how all of this plays out! They are, after all, very accomplished & talented actors so it might not matter. It's also interesting to note that Caitriona now finds herself with 2 "husbands"! (YIKES, SHADES OF CLAIRE) 1 an almost husband and the other a "working husband" in the form of Jaimie Fraser/Sam Heughan! Jesus, how lucky can you get! Seriously, they have endeared their fans to them by their incredible portrayal of Claire and Jamie Fraser of the Outlander series of books for which I am eternally grateful. I know I don't know them personally except for the series, but they have stirred emotions of love, intimacy, acceptance, risk, loyalty, family and country with their portrayals that have allowed us into an extraordinary situation heretofore not experienced before. For all of that, again I am eternally grateful. No matter what they do in the future, they will always be Jamie and Claire for millions and I'm one of those! Jamie & Claire forever! (I can't believe I wrote all of this!)

Great interview! Sam and Cait being interviewed separately gives them both the time they each deserve to give thoughful and interesting answers to the questions without distraction. BUT, did he just say Black Jack and Jamie loved each other in some weird way and this is why they embraced?? Please tell me i didn't hear that! Jamie loving his sadistic abuser? I don't think that's what DG was going for.

Ok, i had to listen again and he said " that was a special moment, not that they loved each other but there has been this bond between them because of what happened in season one". Well that's just as bad as saying they loved each other. He was raped and tortured, abused mentally and physically, branded and forced to submit to his abuser after being broken down to the point of wanting to die! How is that considered bonding, Sam? That was a messed up way to write the battle scene with BJ!! I'm done now.

I love this interview, with Sam. He is very charming! I am so glad he has found happiness with Mackenzie, his girlfriend. I just wish some people, would stop bullying her, just because she is dating Sam. Sam is a brilliant actor playing Jamie Fraser, in Outlander. He deserves more award nominations, like the Emmys and Golden Globes.

For Sam's career, of course it would be good to play a villain. But looking at his interviews, so you want to the good people he played, how he seems himself.. Not captain America, of course..))) This character seemingly devoid of something of something human, honestly) But I agree with what Sam said about Jamie.. and he managed to play it.. a healthy mind that craves life, moving forward, no matter what. It makes you follow the same course in life. And Sam, again, is very good at it. A few touches to the new roles.. and this healthy vital core would help the audience.. Probably, it needs to be a bit of a child) Good luck to him in all his endeavors. And happiness, of course) with respect to work this actor, from Russia. P.S. A little is not enough for us, the audience, who began to learn the English game, rather, by theater actors.. such as, for example, Dalton.. He is so theatrical and so hooligan in his early film roles.. But just as interesting and wild for movie. To remember. And become a favorite of the actors) And not on the role of Rochester, no. Early film work, of course. Sam doesn't have a theatrical flaw. But there's the same rowdy manner slightly to pull the blanket over himself in the scenes) And this clearly comes out involuntarily. Because he likes doing it.. And it's beautiful)

independent of the sex , Sam is a great actor and represents with honor his paper of JF. I feel that joy and attunement, with Cait, have ended in real life.
