This interviewer is wonderful. She's relaxed, speaks in a normal tone and asks in depth and informed questions that reveal a lot more than we usually get. Both Sam and Caitriona's interviews were just great.

This is absolutely the best interview I've ever seen Caitriona Balfe do and the credit goes to the interviewer! She did a wonderful job and asked intelligent, thought-provoking questions that allowed this actress the space to open up about her character. It was lovely to hear an interview with no random nonsense questions. Thanks for a job well done! I look forward to seeing more interviews she's hosted!

This is absolutely wonderful! The interviewer was prepared with intelligent, in-depth questions. Caitriona absolutely brims with intelligence, candor, and warmth. She truly shines! I also love how she likes the same book parts as the fans, and dislikes the same parts of the show most of us had issues with. She was very gracious but her feelings came through enough to get the point. The actors really have a love and respect for this great love story and epic adventure. They truly realize how very special it is. Great interview!

Finally, a great, candid interview where we get to see Caitriona's real personality coming through! Props to the interviewer/hostess. You can tell she's genuinely into Outlander and knows the series too (or she has good, comprehensive interview skills). So many times, I'm annoyed with the interviewer b/c they are so un-engaging with the material or not know the subject well enough.

Such a smooth interview. Catriona is as smart as Claire. I watched OUTLANDER waiting for GOT's Season 8, and I'm hooked! It's unique that the book/series show the intimacy of married couples. And not just of "lovers", like they are the only ones entitled for such intimacies. Catriona is such a good actress. How I wish she and Sam will win the Emmy Award someday. They are a good team.

What a wonderful interviewer! So personable, yet professional! Love your questions and easy way of interacting with Cait! Caitriona said it's amazing that the fans have transferred their love of the book series to the TV adaptation. That's very easy to do when the actors are such high quality and are committed to making their characters believable and matching what the author intended. ❤️ We love Caitriona and Sam as our Claire and Jamie!! ❤️

For me, Caitriona and Sam are doing a great healing job for their nations Scotland, Ireland and Great Britain and the United States as well. A great love story beyond the boundaries - thank you Diana Gabaldon and thank you both for embodying the characters in such an inspiring way and bringing it to a world audience! To maintain the high quality for all the seasons and over the years is highest professionalism for me. I hope, fame will not damage them and their friendship.

Caitriona is such a pleasure to watch act out her role- her face is so communicative and expressive of the feelings Claire is feeling that we barely need her to say anything else to understand the scene. There aren't many actors with that level of talent.

Fantastic interview! It comes off as just a nice, casual conversation. Kudos to the interviewer for setting that stage by preparing well. The questions are insightful and really bring out some great responses from Caitriona. For me, what makes Caitriona Balfe's portrayal of Claire so compelling is her ability to capture the entire sense of a scene in the nuance of her facial expression. With a small squint of an eye or a hollow stare or a wondrous glow of joy, she is able to offer a deep sense of Claire's character in the moment. Claire is such a complex and strong woman and Caitriona captures the breadth of that in every way. It was interesting to hear a small bit of how Caitriona prepares for a scene through channeling bits and pieces from research and personal history. I love Outlander and it is in no small measure due to Caitriona's portrayal of Claire Fraser.

This gal from the LA Times is a great interviewer! I am very happy to know that Cait wishes they had done the missing scenes from Claire's 20 years that I also missed so much. I know they can't do everything but those parts really inform Claire's journey and why Brianna feels the way she does. It's nice to know the actors understand that.

It was Claire's love of medicine, going to med school and becoming the doctor that she had been without the license in the past, and Frank's grudging support of her need to become a doctor by taking on more of the care of Brianna that helped their marriage endure as long as it did, even though Frank could never recapture Claire's heart, shared love of Brianna got them through.

She is so very intelligent!! The entire cast are like spokes on a big wagon wheel moving this amazing story and adventure of a love affair along ...the group of them together has been amazing.. Rupert and Angus was a brilliant pairing .. Tobias is so believable no matter how nutzo Jack Randall becomes.. the sister Jenny, the brother in law & friend ,, the lawyer and the doctor, Fergus & the Duke!! Gaelis the witch haha !!! It’s just so brilliant and they are connected to him like he’s the king of the jungle .. idk if it’s because they all inspire him or if Ron Moore is just so full of talent but wow.. just wow ..& our main man haha I have to say it again..He is the one breathing life into this character. ... his virtue and kindness and bravery .. all which I’m sure he possesses in real life ... she is the one responding to him , off screen and off she lights him up and he her .. that IS Caitriona..she adores him and has said so.. she says all the time how strong and good and handsome he is ..& he is also a Scot.. with all of the history behind him , life that is in him , people who he descended down from to his life now.. so I’m sure he feels it when he is acting. The show is about a brave man who doesn’t give up who is a scot at the turning point of the history of Scotland .. just because he is living in modern times doesn’t mean that he wouldn’t have existed back then.. and she is just the type of woman who is immortal she is timeless and classy and fun. Everybody can see it .. as for significant others ...in the words of a very popular song ,,, well,, i know you ain’t in love with him break up with him ...Sam and Cait forever!!!!

My mother came from Ireland to the US in the early 50s and she described many moments in the company of others that the Claire character endured with that pompous @ss in academica. Having been raised where women had more voice and been a modern woman of her time who move to London on her own, like the character, my mother was not one to hold her tongue (even though Claire does in that scene). My father often rescued her from angry American men who couldn't take a woman having an opinion in public and they often left social situations prematurely. Eventually she found friends who accepted her strong willed nature, but usually these were couples where the women were from the British Isles. The husbands loved these strong willed women. Most of the women, however, had stories where they found they had to break in their husbands because once they married, their husbands thought they'd turn into what they expected of American wives. My not being raised to be compliant myself (sort of the position that Brianna would find herself in - still ahead of her time for her time) ended up being an issue in my own time. Not saying all war brides were as strong willed, but so many had endured the rationing and the bombings of the war and had certain freedoms they might not have had before the war.

Very enjoyable interview, intelligent questions. Sometimes the questions make me cringe, not here. It was great to hear Caitriona acknowledge some of the plot changes that didn't quite pull it off. It seems that most of the changes mentioned have been disagreeable to a wide audience .Perhaps the writers should pay more attention to the cast on occasion!!

That means you and your wife must give up travel unless ur on location for OUTLANDER. That means NO MORE DROUGHTLANDERS.... NONE. I'll die from the stress. Now you don't want splashed all over TMZ, the Enquirer, Daily MAIL, etc. PLEASE. That means Ronald D. You have to keep giving Terry great story lines and Periods in the FUTURE to design for. MY gosh the woman is a wizard with Cloth and stitching. She just keeps topping herself. You and Terry have to know the fans love her style and designs. That wedding dress, i about fainted. When I saw that gorgeous gown that was hand painted in the French sequence OMG, the swoons must have tilted the world on its axis.she's so very gifted. Besides there wouldn't be any Outlander on film without her talking about it to you. Ronald D you married a genius. I'm just a huge fan of Dianna G. She's given a gift to the world with her books. ROnald D. And Terry and team have created a visual world bar none. All of you have created such a wonderful playground for all our senses to just revel in each season. I adore all the cast member. No more DROUGHT LANDER. It just can't happen. Everybody needs to get the diets, Botox done pronto and film with bloating and bruising. Your fans are getting sick 😷 waiting on these long periods of hiatus! There could be Legal issues ahead for the team, Starz, Tall Ships etc, JUST saying ... after all you all are putting us ( the Fans ) through all this stress ON PURPOSE? Julianna Ravasz, I am from Quebec, Canada and I saw the first 3 seasons and now the season 4 is on WNetwork on Sunday nights at 22:00. You can have the first 3 seasons on Netflix, as well... Have you finally seen them?

Father Fogden did have a coconut for a companion that he talked to a lot in the book, and Claire was humoring his nuttiness, since he was her host.

I love Caitriona, I love listening to this interview, but I’m so distracted by the picture of Peggy leaving to go to her new position, one of my favorite television scenes ever!

How you two Caitriona and Sam never hook up outside screening cause your chemistry was undeniable and maybe thinking it may of out side the cameras your love was timeless for each other no matter wether on or off screen

If fans of "The Books" don't like anything or complain about anything done on this Phenomenal TV Series #Outlander, I suggest they stick with the books.

So far, I liked most changes. They did a great job with the script, especially introducing Frank's perspective because Frank is just a shadow of a person in the books and in the show, he really comes to life. Jack Randall in the show is also more interesting and complex character, and show Dougal is more likeable and less idiotic than in the books.
