Space isn't a "thing" or a specific place, it's just a word for all the empty space in the universe not taken up by an object including air and gasses. Does he mean that space is empty and it's just black nothingness and only Earth is legit while everything else is made up? Does he mean there's some kind of "wall" you'll hit if you go too far up into the atmosphere? Does he mean that space as we know it isn't real and it's something other than just empty space like everything's underwater and we're in a bubble or something? Or that it's far smaller and doesn't actually go on for infinity? He can't just say "space is fake" with zero elaboration whatsoever because that doesn't mean anything. You'd have to provide an alternative explanation because I can walk outside, look up, and see that there's a bunch of empty space up there. I can't tell if I'm missing something or if I'm making sense here.
