@@marvinthiessen3454 A "keeper" as in a good woman. He may have been hard on his women, though. I read where one of them has said he was a demanding lover, wanted every inch of her. Sam's response was that he wanted to love her fully. Now, why would any woman NOT want to be loved like that?
@marvinthiessen34542 жыл бұрын
@@jrnfw4060 Sam was probably an "old soul" in that he truly loved women but couldn't stand the modern woman's BS. Life worked better in the old days, Sam was just born too late. Many younger men are saying NO to marriage and having kids. Compliment a female co-worker on her appearance and get written up by the female HR manager or worse, lose your job. If life is a game of hearts or spades, women hold all the trump cards and some men are finally figuring it out.
@jrnfw40602 жыл бұрын
@@marvinthiessen3454 Considering that Sammy was hurt so badly when he caught his first wife cheating on him, and many of the women he loved afterward either left hm or also cheated, one did so again after he forgave her on the spot the first time she did it, I can fully understand why Sammy was so bitter and actually afraid to fully trust women. It took him seven years to finally marry Malika, and that only lasted six days until he died. Much of his life was tragic (his brother's suicide, which devastated him), yet, he made so many millions laugh with his comedy and he was very nice to fans who got to meet him. I feel Sammy deserves to be in paradise. He lived a promiscuous lifestyle and nearly destroyed himself with drugs and booze, but I would think all of that should have counted as "time served" when he was judged. He had his hell right here on earth, as most of us do.

This is quite a contrast for me since youtube has been recommending a lot of the monotonous Steven Wright.

I get it, sorta. His "primal scream" is a college drunk kid thang, and he started out as a Southern preacher and then found there was even more money doing the SAME THING to a larger audience. I'm not sure who ran the only stop sign in Lodi, but the kid that hit him got probation. Not sure how that ended, but it was the end. A preacher, taken too soon.

Good on you, Brits (especially, in that audience), for warming up to Sam’s style, as quickly as you did; you seemed a bit shy, at first, but Sam definitely knew the cure for that... I’ve always been a fan of British humour and I must say it’s refreshing, to see these two worlds meet...

+Giles Evans as an american....fuck that's true. We love guns. We love buying them, shooting them, going to war with them, dating them, marrying them, having kids with them, and after doing the last three things, killing ourselves with them
