Hearing Sam talking about the voice acting and the performance of the actor doing the motion capture make me want to play the game again. Because of how much time has spent making this masterpiece.

It reminds me of when the Zelda team started working with a younger team for Breath of the Wild. The younger devs would ask questions like, "Well, why _can't_ we add a jump button?" Eiji Aonuma was taken aback because that hadn't even occurred to him. It's just how 3D Zelda games always were. Link can't jump, right?

I really didn’t like Max Payne 3… you could instantly recognize that it wasn’t the original team and it felt off
@bbenjoe2 ай бұрын
@@isisnoreija I too had raised my eyebrow at first, but I came to like it the way it is. The devs knew they had to shake things a bit up to make a successful third installment. The same recipe wouldn't have worked for sure. Obivously Remedy would've known that too, and perhaps they'd picked a different course.

@@bbenjoe if another iteration of something wouldn’t work I prefer that series or whatever to end instead of trying to ride a dead horse and sometimes changing things that shouldn’t have been changed just to try something new and keep that series alive… But there is stuff out there where it totally worked to shake things up a bit (god of war for example! I wasn’t thrilled when I heard that Kratos would have his son with him in the reboot but the new games were fantastic!)

Self-inserting is underrated. I do it with some people I know and parts of myself but change it a bit. If people wouldn't likeme then they won't like the writing anyway. I have tons of more crazy anime characters but this helps almost get that Triple A feel with the likeness of people who are really detailed

@SloppyToffee2 ай бұрын
@@FearNot777 it still sold 1.3 million copies (which isn’t something to sneeze at) and one reason that honestly could be is because the game released like 10+ years after the first game a whole new generation of kids weren’t even alive when the first game came out that are old enough to play this now. Alan wake 2 was more IMO meant for die hard fans of Remedy and their games. The game still had great reviews, cool story and cinematography etc. Is it perfect? No but it definitely didn’t suck you personally just think it sucks, and that’s OK! I don’t like Fortnite or COD anymore but they sell well! I think they suck, but a lot of people disagree with me. Also single player games are hit and miss these days. It makes me sad because I personally would rather play a cinematic masterpiece over getting called every slur in the dictionary by a 9 year old, and having a loot box shoved in my face every 10 seconds. But live service games make more money 🤷🏽♀️ it’s just the sad truth of the matter
