I've never heard him talk like that. Concise, direct, and with intent. .... regarding coaching, he's looking good this year (2024). A mate of mine put $100 on the hawks to win the flag at the start of the year. I think he said they were paying 100:1

Lol....He just prefaced his first instruction with the words 'we're going to play Simon says'......It was to check on who was fully focused on his words & who wasn't....a well known pedagogical ploy.

I don’t have a good feeling about this at all. Love Mitchell as a player but he lacks conviction and jumps from one point to another without finishing the first thought. Kennett’s legacy will be remembered for letting the best coach of a generation go without giving him a say in the matter. Clarkson is a winner and I have no doubt he’ll find a way to win flags with another club. I sincerely hope Mitchell becomes a great coach but the odds are stacked against him, there’s a much longer list of ‘promising’ assistants who go on to fail miserably.
