It’s upsetting her family’s response to the drugs. In Robyn’s book she recounts telling her mother Whitney was liking drugs a bit much yet afterwards Whitney confirmed her mom didn’t care and was nonchalant about the issue. Sam just confirmed Dionne felt the same too. Her family was so deep in denial of how in trouble Whitney was

I wish they would’ve tried hard back in the day and stopped the enabling. But if you remember the rest of her siblings are addicts and had their share of therapy. Gary couldn’t make it to Whitney’s wedding because he was in rehab. One thing his ex wife said that pissed me off Cissy told Gary to stop crying he was a man when he was getting help in rehab.

@@donovanrobinson1843 so sad. I wish them the best and healing. I used to believe addicts got themselves in that lifestyle and it was their fault but as I got older I became more sympathetic towards people with addictions. Most are products of their environments (the dumping of drugs in black neighborhoods), have dealt with traumas, and addictive genes are also hereditary.

Everyone focuses on the addict in her. She was so much more than that! She was a daughter, mother, sister, wife and a child of God! Addiction is a demon from the pit of hell. There is a genetic predisposition. Don’t believe everything you hear, people will say or do anything for their 15 minutes of fame. She touched several hearts and lives with the beautiful gift God blessed her with and will forever be missed and loved!!♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️💕💕💕💕

He himself is upset but he's telling it like it was. Whitney had to face her problems and start dealing with them; instead her enabler bunch helped her cover everything up. It's so sad how this beautiful gifted woman lost everything and died high and alone.

If Whitneys family did not see her as a cash-cow and treat her with tough love as they should have done with Whitney Houstons addictions then maybe she would have been alive today. If people are out there getting drugs on the street and depends on drugs then other people should call them out on it. They should call them out because they love them and wanting them to be sober and live the best life possible. i think that Whitney Houston became depended on drugs because of her brother that introduced her to cocaine and also because of the yes people within her family and the music industry.

This man is being truthful. Ultimately Whitney is responsible for her actions every step of the way but ya all know she had enablers every step of the way too. We know Cissy had sheriffs remove Whitney at one point. Gary and Pat...come on, and that Raffels Van Exel dude... How is it nobody was every arrested throughout the years and years of buying and using this garbage??? Like Mr. Moore said, Whitney was everyones cash cow. It's all such a damn shame!

Thank You Sam Moore for being one of the few people close to Whitney to speak the truth. I LOVED WHITNEY during her peak, however, as "SHE" choose to mess up her life and her voice, my respect for her was lost. The voice "WAS GONE". It's ok to admit that, but people close to her do not want to admit that or the fact that she was a drug addict, she was. I miss the voice, however........

I too have suffered thru drug abuse. However, I have people that surround me with my best interest in mind. Now that Whitney is gone, EVERYONE is trying to clear their conscience by saying they tried to help her. If all the people around her put their foot down or confront her or threaten her career she in someway would've responded. When you take a toy from a child, they tend to do better to get that toy back. It's the same thing. If Whitney's lively hood had been threatened she would've listened a lot more. Cause If you took her lively hood from her, the response would be to get herself straight. Instead EVERYONE around her(even close family and friends). Her longtime manager, Clive Davis, as much as he says he loved her can't be true. Reason be...you pacified her, you let shit slide. To Mr. Davis, money trumped loyalty. You CANNOT tell me that Clive Davis didn't know what she was doing. I'm done guys, lol! Just had to get that off my chest.

Some cousin Dionne Warwick was! Not feeling it was "her place" to discuss Sam Moore's (a long term family friend Whitney called uncle, so far from a stranger and obviously someone who would have cared) concerns over her own cousin's health, but then Dionne always harps on about how close and supportive their extended family is during interviews- bullshit!

There are some people who actually believe the lies they tell. They're so good at convincing,so good at selling what they preach that they actually believe it themselves.Saving someone doesn't involve dumping them, abandoning them & betraying them, does it? Making up lies & excuses, selling the illusion of someone being an active drug addict only serves as damage control--you're too ashamed of what you did to face them. Dumping them destroyed them--& you cry they're trying to destroy you? LMAO!!!!

We know Whitney struggled with addiction but I'm looking and listening to this man and something about his vibe and spirit is not right. So, I say, "Uncle Sam"...'Heeeeyy baaby', shame on you. And...shame on CNN for giving you a platform. You sound like a hating man, not a caring man. He was not in the loop like that and asked Dionne not because he cared but because he's a bullcrap starter. Look at what he's doing just based on what he senses was going on with Whitney and I don't believe Krissi told "help my mommy". I just don't! He's been called a big liar before. Just think if someone had actually told him anything. That's why Dionne told him about "spreading rumors". He's known to talk mess. He did it on his music partner Dave after he died. He's a messy man and nothing about Whitney grieves him or haunts Sam. You can see, he relished in this opportunity to cast her in the ugliest light and gain his 15 mins of fame which took him NOWHERE! He maybe a hall of famer but he can't sellout stadiums. Whitney could with no voice and would today, if she were alive. HE haaasss no HUGE legacy but WHITNEY does, and shall forever remain "The Voice".
