Hi brother,, beautiful place. I liked the interior of the temple those kids invited you into. Was gorgeous, but more plain than most,,an austere beauty. Shiny wood paneled columns and those amazing carved window panels. Lmao I'd have gotten sent to the naughty monklettes temple too lol,,,13,,for drinking whiskey or blowing shit up or target practice at the wrong thing with my trusty Ruger 1022 .22 semi auto rifle.great little gun,,with practice, you could knock the nads off a gnat. Lmao give or take. It was great living in the country back then. Since the 70s they have taken most of the fun out of growing up. Rules,rules, rules. Bah humshit !!! The young novice monks in Laos are pretty cool. I had a young novice in Luang Prabang call me 'falang dung nyai'. We all had a laugh, even me. He didn't realise I could speak a little Lao. "falang dung nyai' = big nose foreigner!
