Awesome, just awesome! You're showing the locals in their natural unedited environment, just doing their daily routine is the best way to introduce them to the world. It is so pure and natural. What simple people and lifestyle.

Hey Todd,,After the last few videos,,I think Sam Neua has become one of my favorite Lao cities. As far as cities go,,that is a beautiful little city. A city ,, and still the people are happy and kind. That farang kids Dad must work at a consulate or something similar. As close as it is to china,,, he's probably a spy. Lol Those beef and pork sticks looked good. Great song,,when I was 18 or so,my best friend and I corrupted the words to "lay, lady, lay across my big tough chest " lmao I'm sure there was Budweiser and/or whiskey involved. Lol. Speaking of Bob, I read today that out of the blue,,he released an extremely rare and very few copies of a recording session the he and George Harrison did in 1970. I've heard whispers of it, but never have heard even bootlegs of this. I think they released 500 or maybe 5000 copies and they all sold out in something like 8 minutes. Hopefully I'll find it on a BitTorrent.. well,,you guys take care. Loved this trip Todd and Neenee. Thanks..Ttyl,,,Marlon

Phongsali was amazing. Worth the bus trip which was interesting (the bus broke down 7 times and took about 20 hours! Then ran out of diesel just outside the town! Someone was phoned to fetch a can of fuel. The Israeli travellers made it a lovely experience as they were singing all the way (beautiful language, especially in song) The first two days in Phongsali I had blue skies and photographed the old town then I trekked to remote Akha Nuqui villages and stayed with them. Wonderfull people. On returning to town the mist defended and gave a ghostly feel. I have never been so cold in Asia! North of the town towards China is also a good trip. @@NowinLao

Gday Todd, Loving your videos mate. I have been going up to Udon Thani, Thailand where my wife comes from for around 20years. I have done a few trips over to Vientiane over the years but always wanted to get up to places like Vang Vieng and Laung Prabang. I was lucky enough to get the opportunity to go up to Vang Vieng recently when the borders opened and absolutely loved it, reminded me of rural Udon Thani when I went there early in the piece. I am looking forward to traveling back to Thailand and going on adventures over in Laos. One of my hobbies in Thailand is just going out on a little motor bike and getting lost lol. I think I will have to move my hobbie over to rural Laos now. Enjoy your time back in the Hunter, looking forward to seeing more of your videos.
