Sam never has been a confident, powerful speaker. It may make people think he doesn't know what he's doing. His bringing in Enos to try to turn a spread team with a mobile QB into a Bret Bielema/Kirk Ferentz pro-style was a complete disaster. Maybe he can turn it around and survive.

Pittman admitted after the Mississippi State game last year that he didn't know what to do. That's why people don't have any confidence in him and believe he doesn't know what he's doing. Yurachek even admitted that he needed a former head coach like Odom to help him out and he didn't have that last year. That's why Petrino was brought in, to tell Pittman what to do. Lack of leadership from the head coach is the main reason the program has declined the last two years

Hiring underqualified head coaches is the reason the football program is in the toilet. First Morris and then Pittman. If they don't get a head coach in here that excites people, the boosters aren't going to support their NIL

This is a weird situation. If we have a much better than expected year, Sam will stay and Bobby will be a head coach somewhere. If we have another awful year, Sam will be gone but why would you replace him with Bobby? He ran the offense for an awful year.🤔
