When I think of great Canadian musicians Sam is right at the top. Sam Robert's music is a uniting force much like the songs I listened to growing up in the 60's. There's so much hate and anger in the world today, it's easy to become indifferent, Sam has enough guts to write about stuff that matters and leaves a lasting positive message.

I know I say this with bias - being a Canadian citizen who listens to radio which mandates a certain amount of Canadian musicians' airtime - but seriously, I thought this was a classic rock tune. Well, it should be considered as one (imo)! Also, I see here that it hasn't yet passed a million views. Well, it should!!

The days of signing a band or artist for their artistic integrity is long gone, and almost everyone you see getting 200 million views for some video or song is because it was destined that way, and nobody gets to that point without directly knowing someone in the upper echelon of the music industry, whether it's a family member or a close personal friend, this is the way it works now.. cont..

Was feeling this way today … an ever present feeling actually for far too long … where have all the good people gone? So I googled this question and landed here. I just don’t understand most people I come across anymore. I think access to social media and a bigger audience of “friends” has made people forget that really, in the end, we live day to day amongst a very close group of people in this world, and what we do and say and how we live either builds or tears away at these very important relationships.
