Sam…..I have openly wished (and encouraged) you to embrace the “villian role” in long course Tri. You absolutely turn on that inner monster during competition, and there’s plenty of people out there that love when you lose. Embrace it!!! Tri needs a villian! Who wants another nice guy? I want to root for the villian! Keep up the hard work, the success, and the trash talk! Love it all!

Been diggin your videos man. I'm a new fan (as of the last handful of months or so). Not really fully back ingrained into the triathlon world but your videos are starting to get me back into it as a fan. I just really like the behind the scenes stuff on endurance athletes and you do a really good job with your videos. Thanks to you and Andy Shepard. (I'm gonna pick on your foot strike though;) #midfootforefoot #poppinoffthebiglevers PS- Pretty sick music as well. Well done by Andrew Schiff

@@rogerc23 No its an olympic then a 70.3 but they will be my first triathlons ever. So wondering on how to recover and be ready again in a week
@rogerc232 жыл бұрын
@@AJ5dude well my advice for what it’s worth is after the Olympic make sure you are eating the best recovery foods, which are obviously low inflammation food like a wide variety of vegetables, fruits grains and beans and make sure you recover your protein levels right after the race. A big greens shake would help. Then in terms of workouts you want to be doing shorter stints but still pretty good intensity. This is a classical tampering type of workout for the week leading up to 70.3. Oh a good video on 70.3 tapering was done by Triathlon Taren. kzbin.info/www/bejne/Zl7HpaShiK6ja5Y

Now that Jan and Patrick is out, my money is on Sam as no.1. I think Sam is stronger than Gustav and I think the strongest will win St. George (not the fastest). I think Lionel will suffer with his nutrition again. Alistair will go out too hard. Joe Skipper is one of the biggest threats - very durable athlete. Just hope Sam doesn't overdo it and get an injury before race day.
