I love the way Zane interviews. It's awesome seeing them talk about such personal issues while Sam casually asks him if he likes sugar in his tea. It's amazing to see the artists in their own element.
@jillbirks30677 жыл бұрын
Anyone who says 'I didn't know what to say' is intelligent. It indicates he thought about the issues and saw the complexity and understood what he needed to learn about. It also shows modesty. It's only arrogant, ignorant people who say 'I know how to do this, what to say.' Great guy, Sam. I respect you.

How maturely Sam acknowledges the mistake when he made the Oscar speech. I do admire that. He says that the child in him takes over, but I think the adult is dominant. And when Sam says he should learn more about gay history and take responsibility - that is maturity. He's so articulate; far more than 'average'. How sad that Lance Dustin Black should have been so vicious, when Sam would have been receptive to advice. Sam, you are a gem. I love you.
@jillbirks30677 жыл бұрын
asava17 I thought Lance's comment was cruel. He could have sent Sam a DM and let Sam enjoy his Oscar moment. Sam is so receptive he would have apologised and learned from it. Lance also made the bitchy comment about not texting Tom Daley. It's the insecurity of an older man with a young attractive lover. LDB shouldn't do that publicly but ijstead asked Tom about it. It's private. In the end LDB humiliated himself more than he hurt Sam - at least from the Twitter messages on L's site. It was all so unnecessary and hurtful. Am so pleased at what Sam said to Zane: a gentle young man able to learn.

It's not because your music is sad Sam that make people like it, it's the soul and your uncanning songwriting ability. You're a true great Sam, if you like downers then give us that, if you're feeling a happy song then give us that too. That's what is great. Don't change ..

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Magnificent interview is almost like your talking to me. Having said that, your latest single "DANCING WITH A STRANGER" I can't get enough of it, I listen to it for several hours as I drive, the lyrics are so simple but then again they go straight to one's heart thank you for sharing those thoughts with us.... Wishing you always health, prosperity, but most of all I wish you love... Abrazos

For those not in the UK this guy is more intelligent than he gives himself credit for. If he left school at 17 he will have taken AS level Film Studies,(not the full A level) but B grade is way above average. I'd love to teach him Film Studies, English lit and History A level. Definitely a late developer. He's an articulate man. His perceptive, skilled song-writing wouldn't be possible without innate abilities.
