I'm ipressed with Zane Lowe as an interviewer. He does his homework about his interviewees, is warm and friendly, complimentary but not fawning, and asks questions that encourage full answers. But also, Sam must be a gift to interview; he's overflowing with ideas and thoughts, and he's able to express them very well for one who is still a young man. Excellent interview, both of you.

Poor Sam. May 2018 Brandon Flynn posts a loving birthday tribute to Sam, telling the world how much he loves this sweet, singing, lovable guy. There are pictures posted of Brandon looking at Sam with adoration. In early June he breaks off the relationship. No wonder Sam seems baffled and betrayed. For all Sam's success, for all the adulation and wealth, for all his talent, I still feel so sad for him. I wish Sam were more angry, less tolerant, then he might be less heartbroken.
