Very few girls beat a fit and in form Serena ! Especially in a grand slam final. This was a HUGE win achieved by playing at an incredible level! Sam’s high water mark,set here, is at a level I’ve seldom seen in women’s tennis.

Once again a pathetic Serena controversy. She screamed come on right after hitting the ball waaaay before Stosur made contact. You lose the point, don't make a scene... Replay the point? No, girl, then if anyone is in a bad position and want another chance they'll just conviniently scream too, it's replay the point if a ball falls, etc not an intentional scream. Next she aggresively point her finger to the umpire and gets the American crowd booing and whistling to try to make Stosur lose her focus and the circus begins and she breaks Stosur's serve

@Amanda Cerny You are wrong, you are not allowed to talk during the point, it distracts your opponent, therefore is considered hindrance and you lose the point. If I'm playing against someone and they scream COME ON very loudly when I'm about to hit the ball it distracts me and it can make me miss. It doesn't matter if Stosur was going to make the ball or not (she had a good chance though, since she made contact), if you scream come on before she has the chance to hit it it's hindrance and you lose the point. It's the rules, no matter if your name is Williams or Cerny.

Every time she's loosing, the drama's in her so called life comes out like she's the author of the Tennis Rule Book. In Basketball, there is a what they call goaltending violation which if it was breached, points will be awarded to the opposing team. Same thing in tennis.
