Hi Sam. My son took his life. It’s so painful, survivors always wonder if we could have done something, anything, to prevent it. My son left behind a four yr old boy. I’m raising him now. I thank him every day for all the beautiful memories he left behind and for his son, my grandson. I wouldn’t have made it this long if it wasn’t for those 2 things. I’m so sorry you are going through this pain. Your journey has just begun. It’s the hardest one so saddle up and do forget to ask for help if you need it.

I saw a random post that had a picture of you with your dad and as someone who has lost his dad the same way, I can feel the pain you are undoubtedly fewling right now man. Just promise me you will do one thing, brother. Don't let this consume you and define you. Grieve for his passing, but then dust yourself off and bounce back stronger and live the best damn life you possibly can because there's no doubt thats what your dad would want for you, Sam. Make him proud and rise from the ashes of the chaos that his loss will undoubtedly cause, and always remember the good memeories you had with him because it's thhose memories that have kept me strong since 2015 when my dad left us, and it will do the same for you.
