Oh yes, the family reactions are vicious. I am a 68 year old white SA man with a beautiful Kenyan wife for 14 years now.. My mom (now deceased) just accepted and loved my wife, it was awesome to see her put some unpleasant people in their place. However, the rest of my family were appalled. I told them all to go to hell, the wife means more than the sum of the haters. Her family on the other hand are just wonderful. Thank God. Blessings to you.

What would you like to be the theme of your relationship this year?

I'm not in a relationship however my theme is to WAIT. Patience and having peace in knowing believing that love will make it's way to me. For the longest time I was going after love and I'm not even ashamed of that (though I didn't find love 💀). But what I've recently realised is that in the whole 'searching for love' I was walking away from myself and kind of abandoning my own needs in a quest to search for external validation. I think I have to make peace with being lonely, and that I will continue to 'sbwl' on the TL but I won't die 😂😂. As long as I have myself on lock. (Whoah I really just opened up. Tense) 😬
