20 - we went to Alaska to see the northern lights and tried dog sledding with a team of huskies! Colby gives a sad update about the health of his dog and we also got stranded on the side of a highway because we ran out of gas!

They died and I never gave them the attention they deserved. I have a dog now named tilly and she is the sweetest dog I have ever had and I know I will miss her when she’s gone so please everyone love your animals and give them everything they deserve because when there gone i promise it will hurt like hell.

My friends and I use to travel all the time, and everyone just kind of settled down and aren't down to travel anymore. I want to travel and make memories but I have no one to do it with. I have 2 dogs, my older one turns 3 next month and I can't imagine him not being here he was my first dog after my childhood dogs passed 10&11 yrs ago. My younger boys only a yr old but I've had him for 4 months and he's such a big part of my family as well.

Even tho y’all didn’t see the Northern Lights, this was still so inspiring for me. I’m a 22 year old full time college student balancing a full time unpaid internship and work. I find it so tough to find time and money to do things that I actually enjoy- so like, everything y’all do lol. Since I was 8 years old, seeing the Northern Lights has been #1 on my bucket list, soon after I was diagnosed with a rare condition that has left me legally blind. Thankfully, I have my wonderful guide dog to help me somewhat navigate some of life’s struggles, but there is a possibility that one day I will lose my vision entirely, and I’ll be dammed if I don’t get to see the Northern Lights before then! I’m glad y’all had the opportunity to possibly see them, and although you weren’t able to, that doesn’t mean you never will! Keep striving for that dream- I’ve heard it’s one of the best things to experience! much love & appreciation for y’all 💚

I’m sorry to hear that it’s awful when things like this happen to us so young and effect our lives in ways outside our control despite our damndest efforts not to let them other people still use them to stop us from being able to continue through life as we should be able to sadly. I lost my eye to glaucoma at age 22. I had seven eye surgeries since birth until I was seven to try to save the vision in that eye for a number of ailments and then a years after my win was born I was in the most pain I could ever imagine every time my treatments stopped working sometimes being rushed into emergency surgeries inside of doctors offices and other times being treated like a drug addict in emergency rooms and told to drive myself home while curled in a ball on the floor. Which I did. I had no choice.

Cats aren't given enough credit, they can be anyone's best friend you just have to open your heart and treat them with the same love and respect you do for any animal...I have never had an aloof, independant cat...and I've had six cats so far, I've been blessed with sassy, love sponge cats to ones who are sweet but diva-like. Love is universal, from one species to the next, no singular species of animal is better than another...we all deserve to be loved.
