Dear SJ, Indeed you have been Blessed with a remarkable gift 💝 that somehow was waiting to blossom in the perfect circumstances…How miraculous that those circumstances would be created by a global viral pandemic? How marvelous ☸️🙏🕉

I had moved into my new home in the Sierras in NorCal two days before the 50 year snow storm hit. Trees brittle from drought were blanketed with a thick wet snow and they and power poles were snapped like bones. It look like a bomb was dropped. The power was gone for 11 days and for 3 days I was cut off from the world with only the burners on top of my stove to keep me warm. Skyscrapper pine trees just missed my bedroom as they crashed on my drive way sealing me off even more. day 5 supplies arrives from friends. Eleven days total without power and nothing to do. No electronic entertainment what so ever. not even a deck of cards to play solitary and NOT once did I ever say, " Why me? " calamity after calamity befell me but my meditations over the years has created a "mindfulness" that took and accepted "what is" as it manifested itself. No entertainment to hide behind. Just myself as I am and I was quiet surprised how well I got along with myself. That's all you have. That's all there is. Just you!! Mindfulness of what is and who you are! It was an ordeal, but also an adventure too! I prayed for solitude and quiet and hoped for some snow :-) One needs to be careful what they pray for. Wonderful to look back at it now. Hard being cold more than it was being alone because I had my "rescue cat" Mr PeeWee with me. We did bond together during this period. So glad to be back online! -Much Love Thorn

It is so good you came and got us for this cloud-hidden journey - Cold Mountain has those spare things which reveal starkly the clutter of the world, and this old guy finds respite in your guidance again. Always, really.💐

Did he say he’d teach us magic mushroom songs?
@SamaneriJayasara3 жыл бұрын
Yup! The notes say this refers to the Four Worthies/Whiteheads of the Han dynasty who were renowned for their Mushroom Song - about a purple-capped mushroom that has great medicinal/health benefits. Not hallucenogenic qualities, I don't think.

Caught my ear too. Bless the sacred mushrooms. Took 50 years of fighting the illusion before [I] discovered them. And bless your channel. I listen to your readings all day every day.
