Dear Listener, this recording has some copyrighted music in the video so YT plays ADS to collect revenue for the record company. I have no control over the ads that appear as it is all KZbin placing ads for the music companies as I used copyrighted material in this old recording. My channel is not monetized so I make no money from them or the ads that appear. I try not to use copyrighted music anymore. If you purchase a KZbin premium subscription you can avoid ads. The responsibility is all on your end.

The one reality can present itself in so many different ways and what a joy it is to explore its various expressions. Peace and love to you, thank you once again for these videos!

Thank you. Your reading is so beautiful! Including the long silent pauses, which allow us to steep in the words. Meister Eckhart is so muck like Jiddu Krishnamurti, my "non-teacher" (he always said he was not a "teacher", only a "friend"). K pointed to the same silence, as in Meister Eckhart's vision. Here are some of my favourite quotes: "To be receptive to the highest truth, and to live therein, a man must needs be without before and after, untrammeled by all his acts or by any images he ever perceived, empty and free, receiving the divine gift in the eternal Now… " "Above thought is the intellect, which still seeks: it goes about looking, spies out here and there, picks up and drops. But above the intellect that seeks is another intellect which does not seek but stays in its pure, simple being, which is embraced in that light. " "Do not imagine that your reason can grow to the knowledge of God"

Hi Prema, lovely to know you are enjoying the recordings and that they are proving soothing during difficult times. Were you an anagarika in the days when Ayya Khema was at WBD or later? Nice to make this connection with the Thai Forest tradition.
@premaroberts15464 жыл бұрын
Hullo again Jayasara, I was one of three women ordained at the Wat in 1984 by Phra Khantipalo & (very reluctant!) Thai monks from Wat Buddharangsee in Newtown, Sydney. I knew Ayya Khema but like just about everyone else at the time she was not supportive of the nuns' ordination at the Wat. . . .I disrobed in 1988 after meeting my Tibetan Dzogchen Master Namkhai Norbu Rinpoche. Thereafter I encountered Hindu Advaitism & spent some months in India with Papaji who was a disciple of Ramana Maharshi. . . Living on the NSW north coast i've met some beautiful practitioner teacher/healers in many traditions, who have all been a part of my journey. . . Your UTube postings seem to bring all these seemingly diverse threads together in such a gentle yet profound manner, & the fact that you are a Theravadin nun is a kind of healing for me as my time at the Wat was turbulent & scarring for many years - although it was paradoxically beautiful in so many respects too. . . The Thai Forest tradition is so deeply inspiring. I was very fortunate to be able to spend a Rains Retreat at Wat Pa Ban Tard in Udorn Thani when Tun Acharn Maha Boowa was there & then a month or so near the Laotian border at Tun Acharn Tooey's Wat - all 'ancient' history now, as though from another life!

Dear Jayasara, this one had me in tears today. I love these Christian mystics meditations. The photos are fantastic with the text and music so well chosen. So peaceful and reassuring . So needed in this time of uncertainty . First the fires and now the virus... I hope you’ve settled back into your monastery and there’s some recovery in the bush? Just letting you know I wasn’t able to access the “community “ section of your channel with my iPad? Thanks again for these videos. Very much appreciated. Blessings 🙏🏻

Hi Nick, lovely to read your beautiful sharing in relation to these mystic's words. They are just lovely aren't they and the Christian mystics remind us of the importance of humility on this path. I love that emphasis they place on the practice. It can be missing a bit in some other traditions, or perhaps just not emphasised so much. We are doing fine at the monastery and in total isolation which is the same as it always is for us - so nothing's changed, except no visitors or guests. So even more quiet. The bush is recovering amazingly fast post bush fires and it's so amazing to see just how quickly nature can regenerate. The birds, wombats, wallabies, echidnas, and lyrebirds are all well established again doing their "stuff". These native animals certainly know how to survive, except for those billion that didn't of course! I hope you and your family are keeping well and safe in these interesting, turbulent times. With many blessings x

Yes all true mystics speak the same language. They speak without speaking if I ‘m right. They just have to look at each other and what comes from the heart is seen on the face and in the silence they understand each other. Sorry if I’m wrong about what I say.
