Ohh, there’s a few dozens tunes from Samantha that are incredible. Her live versions of her songs are the best. I’ve been fortunate to see her live and stand about 3 feet from her. She is the real deal……gives her heart and soul to every show. Take a listen to the live of, “Bitch On The Run” ……..it’s about her dealing with the ugliness of the music towards woman. Glad you were digging her stuff.

I have seen her twice in concert here in the UK. Really good live and she came out afterwards to sign CDs. If you like great blues/rock guitar work like this you should also check out Joanne Shaw Taylor.

Well she's 35 now. I think she was like 23/24 in this performance. She's been around now for a while but has a lot of accolades for as young as she still is. She's won Best new female blues artist twice and Best new blues player once as well. She has played with all the top blues artist live as well as recorded with many of them along with I believe either 4 or 5 of her own Album release. Got to see her Once so far , then I missed one at a Blues Fest somewhat close just because I was working too much. She hasn't played any close enough now for almost 2 years and I've been vary bummed about it. Should have taken the time off.

She plays a cigar box guitar. It is basically what it says, a cigar box with a piece of wood to put the strings on and a pickup built in to the cigar box. This one has four strings and it's as bluesy as it gets. She has several very fine guitars, but I really love this box thingy.

Thanks. I think this woman is a very underrated guitarist and singer. She plays a slide guitar better than anybody I've seen except for Joe Walsh.

I’ve been following her for a long time, since 2017 or so I think. She’s great I especially like her older stuff like this when she had a three piece band. It’s a bit more raw and unpolished which I like. New stuff is good too. But check out her show on 2-13-16 at The Cutting Room in NY. It was 🔥🔥🔥 I found her through watching Beth Hart who is also great.
