Great to enjoy this again after being there on the night. Amazing energetic show but I especially enjoyed the range of playing on "Somebody's Always Trying" (1.13 - 1.22). She's an excellent guitarist with a band to complement her talents. Maybe a larger venue next time in London?

I enjoyed the show! Nice work on the audio and video. Sam's wound up and the band's tight in the rocking beginning. She settles down into the slower tempo numbers as the show goes on. And the slower ones allow more space for her to show her exquisite vocal shadings. I understand no brass on the UK tour. (However, I can still hear Rebecca Crenshaw's fiddle accompanyment in my head on some ot these!) Sam is truly one of the hardest working performers out there doing darn near non-stop live shows.

Can't agree. I loved her early work, however she's matured. Easy to see she's a fan of the Tedeschi Trucks band setup. A much fuller sound.

around minute 31 of this vid, she switches guitars in the middle of the song, just like she planned it. I suspect a broken string on the guitar she discarded. Anybody know what actually happened and why?
